SCOPE OF POSITION:

As a member of the Fresh Pack crew, this position will be responsible for delivering and producing a quality product in a safe manner. This is a seasonal position that will run temporarily from June to early October.

Responsibilities

  • Must be familiar with plant safety rules and guidelines
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills required to share information across multiple functional areas in a cooperative team environment
  • Comfortable working with associates at all organizational levels
  • Proven ability to effectively organize and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Aptitude for accuracy and detail
  • Be willing to obtain training or education if requested from management
  • Must not have any physical limitations which would prevent lifting or climbing. Frequent lifting of 50 lbs and more is required. Work requires frequent bending, squatting, and twist and turn movements.
  • Job holder will work closely with the Area Manager and Team Operators to identify and correct problems.

Qualifications

  1. Work with Packaging Process Employees to:
  • Generate changes to help improve process on line.
  • Ensure uniform practices
  • Develop procedures and systems to improve the quality of our finished product on the line: Improve mix ration, Reduce Wood, Reduce product on hold
  • Assist with special projects.
  • Other tasks related to complete preparation of each line
  1. Audit finished product and raw materials
  • Work with packaging process employees when finished product audit holds are found to reduce the number of holds.
  • Correlate audit holds with rework to analyze how bad audit hold was
  1. Summarize accumulated data for each shift
  2. Input data in computer for quality reports
  3. Other duties as assigned

 

This position will require an interview process to determine the best qualified candidate.
